1. Harlow Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals booked through Harlow are subject to a Rental Agreement issued at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out terms, conditions, insurance information, fees, and your obligations for the relevant rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail for that rental.

2. Harlow Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Harlow, you must:

Be at least 21 years old (age limits vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification, proof of address and a payment method as required by Harlow when collecting the vehicle.

3. Scheduling and Payment

Bookings may be made via our website, by phone, or in person at our Harlow location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are typically due at vehicle collection. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Pickup and Return

Harlow requires you to inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed at handover. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage found after return will be assessed and charged to the renter.

5. Insurance and Liability for Harlow

Basic third-party insurance is included with all Harlow rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the applicable excess amount.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellation and amendment policies for Harlow vary by booking type and notice period. Please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Harlow Restrictions

You must not use the Harlow vehicle for:

Any illegal use or activity involving Harlow vehicles. Participation in racing, rallying, off-road events, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous materials or other dangerous goods. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not designed...

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate rental termination by Harlow and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Liability for Harlow

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Harlow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Harlow for the relevant services.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms govern Harlow under English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be resolved by the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales courts.

10. Changes to Harlow Terms

Harlow may revise these Terms at any time. Revisions become effective immediately upon posting on Harlow's website. Your continued use of Harlow services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
